- 500 grams white fish fillets
- 1 liter fish stock
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 100 ml white wine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
- Add fish stock, bay leaf, and white wine; bring to a boil.
- Add fish fillets; reduce heat and simmer until fish is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of chili flakes.
- Use any firm white fish available.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
